The Shortest Shoot...Comes with the Coolest Gear Yet

Gun Talk produces a lot of content, ranging from TV production (including our shows Guns & Gear, GunVenture and First Person Defender) to newsletters and social media posts. We run non-stop, and many shoots run from "can't see to can't see."

Recently, though, I was on a shoot that lasted all of 20 minutes, but it had the coolest piece of gear. When a 1950 Chevrolet rolled down the road in front of us, Tom leaned over and said, “Yep, I bet that is our truck.” He was right. It was all original and carried more stories than I could imagine.

The 1950 Classic Chevrolet truck

We were out getting some shots for an upcoming Timney Triggers commercial. I don’t know what it is about an old truck, but it takes everyone back to simpler times. The only problem? The shoot didn’t last long enough, but MAN, what a truck.
