Introducing the WATCHTOWER SPEC OPS Type 15 Rifle

WATCHTOWER is proud to announce the launch of its latest innovation in firearms, the SPEC OPS Type 15 Rifle. This AR-15-type platform, designed for both civilian and law enforcement use, sets a new standard in the industry by combining billet precision with a rich military heritage, offering unparalleled quality and value.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the SPEC OPS TYPE 15 Rifle features a receiver set machined from high-grade 7075-T6511 billet aluminum. This ensures tight tolerances for a secure, wobble-free fit, effectively keeping dust and debris at bay. The rifle's assembly includes an ambidextrous charging handle and WATCHTOWER's patented safety selector, enhancing dexterity and providing a larger surface area for manipulating the firearm's mechanics.

At the core of the SPEC OPS Type 15's superior performance is its upgraded fire control group, which includes Hiperfire's EDT2 Heavy Gunner trigger. This single-stage semi-auto LE/SWAT AR upgrade is complemented by WATCHTOWER’s proprietary Tru-Black PVD coated 5.56 NATO M16 profile MPI tested Durabolt BCG. This coating is renowned for its robustness, durability, and ease of maintenance.

Shooters have the option to select between a 16-inch 5.56 NATO cold hammer-forged barrel or a .223 Wylde stainless steel barrel, both featuring a 1:8 rifling twist and a mid-length gas system. The barrel is encased in a 13.7-inch S7M free-floating handguard with M-LOK attachment slots, 4 QD points, and a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail. The rifle is finished with WATCHTOWER's Flat Face compensating muzzle brake, designed to reduce recoil and coated in Tru-black PVD for durability.

The SPEC OPS Type 15 Rifle also boasts a B5-reinforced polymer pistol grip and buttstock, enhancing its ergonomic design and user comfort.

WATCHTOWER CEO and former Recon Marine, Jason Colosky, emphasizes the rifle's design philosophy, stating, “The SPEC OPS Type 15 rifle is crafted for enthusiasts who demand a top-tier AR-15 platform that reflects our military's legacy. It's engineered for optimal performance in the most demanding conditions, available in both 5.56 NATO and .223 Wylde configurations.”

The .223 Wylde model is priced at $1349, while the 5.56 NATO variant is available for $1599. Customers can choose from a Black type III anodized finish or opt for one of three Cerakote colors: FDE, OD Green, and Wolf Grey.
