A Very DU Weekend

If you find yourself in need of something to keep you occupied, take the trip to Texas Motor Speedway for a unique opportunity with Ducks Unlimited. The DUX event is the 2nd Annual event presented by Purina Pro Plan.

Beginning April 8th and running through April 10th, the Ducks Unlimited Expo is a three-day, hands-on event, featuring anything outdoors. The event will feature several villages where attendees can see, try, and buy the latest outdoor products and talk with industry experts.

The DUX event also features exhibitions, educational seminars, and demonstrations. If you’re looking to test your shooting skills Ducks Unlimited has several shooting bays, including a 300-yard-long range course. This is, possibly, the only opportunity to shoot firearms at the famed Texas Motor Speedway.

The entire event is generated to introducing youth to the outdoors as well. An outdoor off-road biking course is onsite. Plus, industry leaders and influencers will be on hand to chat about the latest products within the outdoor industry. Standard at any Ducks Unlimited venue, waterfowl calls abound and a seven total featured waterfowl calling contest with over $15,000 in cash and prizes. Entrants to the contest can register on site.

If hunting isn’t your venture, the Ducks Expo features seminars from top angling pros. Learn casting techniques for fly fishing, spin, and bait casting from today’s top anglers.

The Ducks Expo is also the place to learn what is happening in today’s conservation efforts. In the Conservation Village, attendees can participate in the Laser Shot duck hunting simulator and learn what the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is doing to conserve wildlife.

There’s always something to do at the Ducks Unlimited Expo. No matter what you enjoy in the outdoors they’ve got you covered. For more information and tickets visit https://www.duckexpo.com/ ~ KJ
