It's a true first focal plane (FFP) design, which means its reticle scales with magnification exactly the way a shooter's FFP riflescope does. Dial the power up or down and the reticle's subtensions stay mathematically correct at every setting — no need to return to a reference power to get an accurate reading.

The MX-6HD ships now in one of four commercial reticle options:

• PR2-MIL — Leupold's precision-rifle-oriented milling reticle, familiar to shooters already running PR2 riflescopes
• Tremor 4 — Horus Vision's holdover reticle, widely used in long-range and PRS circles
• TMR — Leupold's Tactical Milling Reticle, a straightforward mil-based grid
• FOV — new to the line: a simple circle that marks the edge of your field of view at the MX-6HD's top-end 48x power, so you always know exactly how much ground you're actually seeing at max magnification

Built to Operate Like a Riflescope

The MX-6HD is built around Leupold's Professional-Grade Optical System, which the company designed to deliver bright, low-light resolution with superior glare reduction and the edge-to-edge clarity needed for positive target identification at long range.
