Antique Firearms, Federal Court Win, and More - This Week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk

An ongoing court battle for gun shows in California takes a step in the right direction. Plus, a new summertime exhibit of antique firearms for your next road trip, a new season of Guns & Gear, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

The Del Mar Fairgrounds in California has hosted the CrossRoads of the West Gun Show for more than 30 years. The Del Mar Fair Board of Directors, however, decided last year that they needed to study the “safety” of the show, and banned them as of January 2019. This past week, a federal judge instituted a preliminary injunction lifting the ban while the case continues in the court system. Attorney Don Kilmer visits with Tom this week to discuss what this means for the CrossRoads show, and potentially other gun shows that have been banned from fairground sites. Read more at

Also talking with Tom this week is David Temple, a curator for the Houston Museum of Natural Science, about their new exhibit featuring antique firearms from “Columbus to Napoleon”, open through September 2nd. Explore intricately designed and carved metal and wood firearms from the 16th, 17th, and 18th century this summer. Buy tickets here: Plus, Gun Talk’s Ryan Gresham stops by to talk about a few of the new products you can catch on the 11th season of Guns & Gear, premiering on Sportsman Channel next week, beginning Wednesday, July 3rd.
