What Tax Returns Mean

With tax season upon us once again, we start to dream about ways to spend that newly acquired loot. I’ve debated wildly on which gun would be my next purchase with my anticipated Tax Day returns. I thought I’d landed on another defensive handgun or a custom-AR build, but after a recent trip to Oklahoma to hunt coyotes I landed on the 224 Valkyrie. Here’s what a tax return gun would look like for me. Of course, I’m not stopping there. I’m adding on some items to spend the money like I won the lottery.

I carried a JP-15 224 Valkyrie on my last hunt. I was impressed, but I need a gun that doesn’t weigh me down, especially on long hikes. For the gun, I’m going with an Alex Pro Firearms DMR. The DMR is nearly two pounds less than the JP gun, which is a big deal with run and gun styles of hunting. Shooters of this caliber know the benefits of the 224 Valkyrie. They can expect the same benefits when outfitting one for hunting purposes. If interested in purchasing your next 224 Valkyrie CLICK HERE.

NitroOptics is such a tough decision. I always say spend as much as you can afford. I’m rolling with the Bushnell Nitro optics. Having shot the Nitro optics and experiencing first-hand how well they performed in the harshest weather, I can say the Nitro optics won’t let you down. I shot the Multi-X reticle, which is great for hunting applications. Don’t worry. Bushnell also offers other reticles for extended range. CLICK HERE to explore.

AmmoAlthough we were unsuccessful in our coyote quest, we did happen upon a herd of wild pigs. We shot the Federal Premium 90 gr. Fusion ammo with great success. If that soft point touched a hog, it went down in a heap. With that kind of results, I expect that to be an equally effective round for whitetail. CLICK HERE to buy.

Being 30 days from Tax Day, I need to expand my list of products beyond my next firearm. If I’m not rolling in it after Tax Day here are my immediate purchases.
