Useful Gifts Received
I sat down to write about my top gifts and couldn’t help but chuckle at my list. It seems my family knows me pretty well. This is the first year in a while that every single gift received had purpose and meaning. Here are the top gifts that found themselves under my tree.
Keep in mind: Price and stock could change after publish date, and we may make money from these links.
This slick little tool has eight uses in one little, handy package. It clips on your keys or backpack via carabiner and has everything needed for small jobs. This tool would be great to have in shooting bags too. CLICK TO BUY
Sitka Bow Sling
Okay, this isn’t gunny or tactical, but I love bow hunting. If you are a bowhunter too, this sling is phenomenal for getting in and out of the stand hands free. You owe it to yourself to snag this one. CLICK TO BUY
Halo Bolt Charger
This one almost made it on the bad gift list until I examined it further. Hold on. The Halo Bolt charges laptops, phones and jump starts vehicles. As a bonus, it’s small enough to fit inside your glovebox. This makes a great charger to carry in the backcountry, or carry it on your UTV. CLICK TO BUY
Yeti Rambler 64oz
A Yeti continues to be a solid gift. I think I’ve received no less than eight Yeti products over the years. Each has a use, but this one in such a big size left me thinking about all the possibilities. If I’m headed out all day for a hunt, I have an instant soup container. I can affix it to the outside of a backpack for easy transport. However, the number one thing I’ll use it for is to stow clean water for camping trips with my family. CLICK TO BUY
Sitka Territory Pant
Have you guessed I like Sitka Gear yet? We always talk about becoming the gray man. You know, blending in and not calling out that you have a gun. The Sitka Territory pant allows me to maintain a low profile without spelling out that I have a gun. I requested the Shadow color instead of the Clay color just for this reason. CLICK TO BUY
What did you get this year? Send me your top gifts and I’ll get them out to our viewers in the next go round. If you got a new gun, I want to hear about it. ~ KJ
