What to do at the NRAAM
It’s that time of the year when nearly 80K gun and 2A enthusiasts get together for the NRA Annual Meetings (NRAAM.) This year the NRAAM takes over Indianapolis, Indiana. The annual convention offers guests nearly 15 acres of guns and gear. So, rest assured there is something to do or see at every corner of the Indiana Convention Center.
Most folks go to the NRAAM for the copious amounts of guns and gear lining the convention hall. Below, you’ll find the show floor schedule.
April 26, Friday – Doors Open at 9:00 am and Close at 6:00 pm
April 27, Saturday – Doors Open at 9:00 am and Close at 6:00 pm
April 28, Sunday – Doors Open at 10:00 am and Close at 5:00 pm
This year, Gun Talk will be broadcasting LIVE over our social media channels. We plan on covering the new products and what’s happening around the show floor. We will be monitoring comments on our Facebook and YouTube channels. So, tune in and ask questions about all the exciting new products each of these companies are launching.

One of the great aspects of this meeting of like-minded folks is the opportunity to meet interesting characters and celebrities. Our very own Tom Gresham will be broadcasting on Saturday and Sunday – Come watch radio magic!

Sunday: Live from the FN America booth (3650) from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST.
Speaking of the FN booth, Adam Vinatieri makes an appearance every day at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, as well as an interview on Gun Talk Radio at 3:20 pm on Sunday.

Seminars give attendees an opportunity to learn from the professionals in their respected fields. One seminar I look forward to sitting in features Steve Tarani. During the Fifteen Factors Impacting your Shooting Performance under Duress seminar, Steve discusses how you can solve the problem of immediate threat recognition and be able to defend yourself in the least amount of time. This seminar is in room ICC, rooms 237-239, Saturday, April 27 10:30 am to 11:30 pm.
On Saturday evening, Alan Jackson with special guest William Michael Morgan plays at Lucas Oil Stadium. Any time the NRAAM takes place, they acquire top-notch performers to play the annual NRA Country Jam.
Attend one of the most politically significant events at the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum on Friday, April 26 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The forum runs at 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Purchase your ticket early to hear President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. A small note to remember. It’s the President and VP, so security will be tight. Leave those firearms, brass knuckles or knives in the car for this one. Purchase tickets HERE.

Kevin Jarnagin (KJ) hails from Oklahoma but quickly established Louisiana roots after joining the Gun Talk team. KJ grew up as a big game hunter and often finds himself in a bass boat. Whether it’s making his way to British Columbia for elk or training with pistols, Jarnagin always seems to find a gun in his hands and adventure on his mind.
