6.30.16: Author Brad Thor Would Vote for Trump - This Sunday on Gun Talk Radio
Mandeville, LA - Possibly reversing a previous position, best-selling novelist Brad Thor says he would vote for Donald Trump, but he still wants an alternative, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
In a recorded interview which will air this Sunday, the writer of military and thriller novels who also has become an outspoken advocate for freedom in America, was pressed by host Tom Gresham to decide between the only two viable options in the 2016 presidential election.
Thor offered that he "lives in the wonderful, freedom-loving state of Tennessee. This state is a deep red state. I'm not in a position where my vote would make a difference. But if it came down to my vote making the difference between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, I'd vote for Trump. "
Thor continued, "I've been a Never Trump guy, but ... Hillary's a progressive, and a progressive will erode your liberty. My concerns, though, about Trump, is that he's an authoritarian, and under an authoritarian your liberty can potentially evaporate. So it isn't that you have less liberty. It's that you have none. I'm still holding out hope that something will happen at the convention at Cleveland."
Thor also dismissed the idea that he would run on a third-party ticket, though he said he'd love to have a chance to debate Hillary Clinton. Find out what else he had to say this Sunday on a local station near you, and read more about Thor at http://bradthor.com/.
