"This and That" from Tom

Ruger's polymer revolver is cool. Called the LCR, for Lightweight Compact Revolver, it's a five-shot .38 special. We just finished shooting video of it for Gun Talk TV. Watch the site for that, and a dozen more with neat Ruger guns.

Smith & Wesson's model 442 revolver which commemorates the landmark gun rights case, D.C. vs. Heller, is still available. Any gun store can order it. I took this idea to S&W, and they agreed to donate part of the proceeds from it to the Second Amendment Foundation. Nice looking revolver, and a part of history!
Sleeper 1911. S&W makes the 1911 pistol in scandium, the lightweight but very strong alloy. For a carry gun, check out the Gunsite model -- only 28 ounces for a .45 you can shoot all day long.
Several have written, asking, "What was that holster maker you had on last week?" It was Mark Craighead, president of Crossbreed Holsters. It's a clever design for a comfortable concealed carry holster, but don't overlook the Concealed Carry Shoulder Bag -- pretty slick. www.crossbreedholsters.com
Want to shoot your AR-15 and never have to lube it again? That's what the folks at Fail Zero are saying. Check out this new technology at http://failzero.com.
Don't forget that you can download radio shows you miss by just going to www.guntalk.libsyn.com. You can then listen to the shows on your computer or your iPod, iPhone, or iGun (okay, I made up that one).
Oh, one other thing. Do me a favor, please. Call the radio station that carries Gun Talk in your area and thank them for bringing the voices of responsible gun owners to the airwaves. If you don't get Gun Talk locally, call your local talk station and ask them to add it!
A lie left unchallenged becomes the truth. The Truth Squad "no shrug" policy is that we will not just shrug and say, "Well, that's just the way it is." We always challenge lies about guns, gun owners, and the Second Amendment.
