4-H Youth Shooting Sports - This Week on Gun Talk Radio
Mandeville, LA – It’s a true innovator in the world of bullet manufacturing and a nationwide shooting sports program for kids, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk (R) Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.
Randy Brooks and his wife Coni purchased Barnes Bullets back in 1974. Since then, they’ve been pushing the envelope with new and improved bullets each year. One of the first to introduce lead-free bullets, Randy is always looking for ways to make a design better, and has just recently expanded the VOR-TX line and introduced competition grade Match Burner bullets. Getting kids involved in the shooting sports is important for many reasons – Conrad Arnold with the National 4-H Shooting Sports organization visits on Sunday to discuss the organization and its' benefits. With youth shooting sports programs available in most states, the 4-H teaches safe and responsible firearm use, marksmanship, hunting and archery, and more.
